How It Works

My Health Phone service combines Proximiti’s GSM cellular phone service and proprietary software in conjunction with the Samsung Galaxy Mini Android smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Mini is a full featured GSM cell phone that works inside and outside the home. Regular GSM cellular services is provided by Proximiti Mobility, Inc and its roaming partners over a near nation wide footprint. Proximiti’s proprietary software is preinstalled and runs automatically in the background.

My Health Phone subscribers will immediately notice the Proximiti custom home page as soon as they turn on and unlock their phone. Subscribers have immediate access via the touch screen pad to a large Call 911 button at the top of the screen. This button provides two way communications with 911 emergency personnel. Proximiti has also included a second button to record and send messages to Teammates primarily for non-emergency pusposes.

Proximiti software incorporated into My Health Phone service also includes capabilities to regularly check-in on independent seniors and to offer reminders on of items critical to health and wellness. Subscribers can choose whether they wish to interface via voice calls, text messages or even email. Messages are interactive in nature and generally request evaluation or conformance inputs. My Health Phone users can utilize our web based portal to set up calls according to their schedule and needs (e.g., multiple times a day, once a day, 3 days a week, weekly, etc.) Flexibility is the key as separate messages can be delivered for each medication or all medications combined into a single call. Subscribers can also automatically notify teammates (family members or caregivers) of their responses.
